DAL stands for polished aluminium "La Fonda" base, which was developed as well by the couple for the restaurant La Fonda del Sol, in New York, as a request from Alexander Girard. This model produced by Vitra has a white plastic shell full upholstered in "Hopsak yellow/pastel green" ref.71 finished in white.
