\nThese heartfelt feelings come from one of the great names in Danish design and testify to the high standards that Niels J\u00f8rgen Haugesen applies to his own furniture production. There is little doubt that it meets these stringent requirements, however.
\nIn 1996 he was awarded the M\u00f8belprisen and twice before he received the ID Design Award. Haugesen’s success is due in part to his tenacity.
\nThe ability to keep going until something is complete is a skill he honed while working for Arne Jacobsen’s design studio. Here, he spent five years absorbing everything he could about furniture design, interior decoration, and proportion.
