The Archibald single sofa by Jean-Marie Massaud, produced by Poltrona Frau, is a unique piece that enriches Poltrona Frau’s collections, combining tradition and experience with innovative design. The narrow, slender base with cast aluminium legs and tubular steel frame gives it an elegant, harmonious look. Available in one size, it can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® ref. SIENA , with tone-on-tone stitching. The steel support structure and the polyurethane foam filling enriched with polyester wadding guarantee durability and comfort.
Description
Renzo Frau founded Poltrona Frau in Turin in 1912. By the 1930s, it was already a status symbol. From 1926 he was appointed supplier to the Italian royal family, the Savoia dynasty. From then on, it would supply all the most important houses, large hotels, the interiors for Expo Turin 1928 and the luxurious Rex ocean liner, pride of the Italian Navy.
