Favn sofa – Fritz Hansen

Designed by Jaime Hayón for Fritz Hansen, the Favn sofa is named after the Danish word for "embrace". With a compact design, it has a soft curved silhouette with integrated armrests that wrap around the edges of the seat. Covered completely in grey fabric, the sofa has a deep seat cushion and a separate back cushion in magenta fabric. It rests on brushed aluminium legs, while two additional cushions, with buttons and in magenta fabric, provide extra comfort. Ideal for more compact spaces, this three-seater sofa perfectly balances practicality and comfort, making it an ideal choice for contemporary living environments. RIN Chair – Fritz Hansen

RIN chair designed by Japanese designer Hirochimi Konno for Fritz Hansen in 2008. It was conceived to be in perfect harmony with Japanese and Danish design traditions. The original idea for the RIN chair arose from Konno's fascination with nature and curiosity about the shape of a bird's nest. He was stimulated by the immediate paradox of how something so practical and functional could be so beautiful. He also compares the appearance with another of nature's wonders: a single flower standing upright and the confidence and beauty it exudes.
