The Binaria stool is a unique seating solution developed by Dr Jordi Badia in collaboration with industrial designer Otto Canalda. More than just a stool, Binaria is a seat designed on the basis of extensive medical research, ideal for activities that require both sitting and mobility, especially in a work environment. Its ergonomic design, based on meticulous anthropometric studies, guarantees an optimal position for the back and legs, promoting a healthy posture at an angle of 135°. The central division in the seat allows for a natural leg position, improving stability and hip articulation.
Originally introduced in 2003 by OKEN, Binaria has stood the test of time and is now offered by BD Barcelona Design in original White, Black and Red finishes, as well as in a new leather version.
