The Copenhagen chair designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec in 2013 for HAY, new and unused. This chair has a natural oak wood structure joined by two chair legs that meet in an inverted V and two shells that form the seat and back of moulded natural oak veneer that meet in the middle and give it the strength and unique image of this museum piece. With this goal in mind and inspired by small trees that American gardeners had moulded into the shape of seating furniture, French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec set about designing Vegetal.
