  • The Plate table designed by Jasper Morrison in collaboration with Vitra, reflects the principles of his design philosophy: "Objects that stand out don't do so because they look beautiful or valuable, but because they have the essential code of being good and functional". With meticulously balanced proportions and a harmonious interplay between planes and curves, the Plate Dining Table displays a refined and discreet aesthetic, capable of harmonising with a wide variety of chair styles, from the most contemporary to the most classic. Its tapered legs, with a quarter-circle profile, and slender structure follow the philosophy of efficient use of materials, giving the table an elegant and graceful silhouette. Details such as the slightly sloping legs and the slight overhang of the table top evoke a sense of familiarity with traditional tables, but reinterpreted with a modern approach. This skilful combination of aesthetic and structural elements makes the Plate Dining Table a versatile and sophisticated choice for any setting. Base: cast aluminium legs, extruded crossbars, powder-coated. Glass table top: 12 mm thick, float glass with a satin white finish, lacquered underside, frosted edge.
