Mole Armchair – Sergio Rodrigues

12.500,00

MOLE armchair bought in the 1970s at the OCA shop by Brazilian designer Sergio Rodrigues. The most perfect translation of its creator’s thinking, the Mole armchair contributed immensely to the projection of Brazilian design on the international stage. The 1957 design is both innovative and authentically Brazilian. A four-legged Garrincha circumventing “Teutonic” rationalism. With this concept, the Mole armchair, created in 1957, is still innovative today and is one of the most important works of the 20th century, responsible for projecting Brazil onto the world design scene. Made from solid rosewood with high ends and upholstered in natural leather, this armchair has an original patina and shows minimal signs of use, making it a rare and exclusive piece.
